Indonesia is Southeast Asia's largest economy with over 270 million people and a significant dairy deficit — importing over 80% of its dairy needs. The government is actively investing in domestic dairy production, and commercial farms on Java and other islands are scaling rapidly. Beef demand also far outstrips domestic supply, creating opportunities for beef genetics and live cattle imports.
